Keep calm and BE THANKFUL!

Too often we spend our valuable time focused on what we don't have, so I challenge you to sit down for 2 minutes today and write down every single thing you are thankful for.
I think you'll be surprised at how much better your day is...
BE THANKFUL!

Kalamity & Kaos in VEGAS!

Vegas: according to Cam!

We had an awesome Kalamity and Kaos weekend in Vegas!
Here's all our fun from photos...
I got my "Kisses for Kycie" shirt and was so excited to wear it!
We are selling them on our website if you want to get one and support Kycie!
Friday we met at the Vault at 4 am then made our way to Vegas! When we got there we prepped our homeless dinners and got ready for our assemblies.
I was bummed to sit this assembly out (due to videoing) but I got some really good shots so keep your eyes open for our assembly video.
It's such a blessing to be able to participate in life changing things, we are able to help kids choose a better life and have fun while doing it!
After our two assemblies we went home and prepped the hot dogs to put in our dinners.

Then we had a few minutes to relax before going and taking class.
This picture captures our team perfectly!
We went and took class at The Rock where we learned from an amazing choreographer (Leeko?) I think that was his name. Anyway, it was a blast and he was a great choreographer.
That evening we headed over to meet our cousins Michael and Julie to take our meals to the homeless.
It was a beautiful night!
I couldn't resist taking pictures.
It was an awesome day full of service and love!
After our busy day we headed to get some Yogurtland! It was Emilee's 18th birthday so I got her frozen yogurt, turns out the guy hooked us up and she got hers free! Haha!
Love these two! They got to ride on the train and Maze was so excited.
Saturday we went shopping then came back and relaxed! This was the view from my aunt's backyard as I relaxed by her pool.
That night we got ready and headed to the MJ show at the Rio.
It was the second to last night of the show.
After the show waiting for valet!
Saturday night everyone started getting sick and throwing up everywhere, so we took extra precautions and got every masks for the drive home.
Luci was the bus driver so she took EVERY precaution with tissues, wipes, hand sanitizer, and a mask.

It was an awesome weekend full of service and love and we made special memories that will last forever!!!

Change is good.

If nothing ever changed we'd live in a boring world without wonder.
Although change is hard sometimes, especially changes we didn't see coming or didn't want to happen, it is necessary.
A lot of time we see change as a bad thing because of how it makes us feel, but let's embrace it and look for the best in each change, because there is always something to be learned in change.

My favorite kind of change is the change I can control!
I can make a change by donating to the different causes, I can make a change by spreading awareness for others that need support.
This shirt gives is the perfect opportunity for my favorite kind of change...
because it's donating to Kycie's cause and spreading awareness for them all in one!
To order your shirt and make a change you can control visit Kalamity's clothing website.
CHANGE IS GOOD.
CHANGE IS NECESSARY.
If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies!
I don't know about you, but I'm sure glad there are butterflies, they beautify our world!

Make Memories!

One day when we are ready to leave this life we will reflect on all of our memories, the good, the bad, and the ones so perfect we remember like they were yesterday.
After all is said and done all we will take with us in death is our memories, knowledge, and relationships.
So don't get too caught up in the stresses of life to forget to make memories, and when you make those memories ENJOY them.
Enjoy this stage you are in, enjoy the people in your life, enjoy each new experience you get, enjoy your routine, enjoy each and every moment for you never know when you will run out of those moments.
So for today's thought...
Kalamity's number one fan, Clayton Ah Quin Sr, is now cheering Kalamity on from heaven but he always shared this quote and it goes along with the importance of making memories,
"Yesterday was history, tomorrow's a mystery, but today is a gift and that's why they call it the present!"
MAKE MEMORIES!!!!

Here is Kalamity and Kaos's 2014 year in review where they made MANY memories as they served Luci!
Make Memories, you'll be glad you did!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

CHALLENGE: Make a difference.
It sounds so simple but makes a huge impact when the words aren't taken lightly.
You can make a difference.
So do it.

This morning we had an assembly at the Riverside Elementary and it was so inspiring.
It felt amazing and so uplifting.
The kids were energetic, the performers were on fire, and everyone watching was fully engaged!!!
Kalamity strives to make a difference, the assembly is one of the many ways they do that.
BUT anyone and everyone can make a difference, whether it be visiting someone who is sick or down, making surprise cookies for a friend, or writing a thoughtful note to someone who touched your life.

EVERY action counts, EVERY action makes a difference, let's make our actions make a GOOD difference!

*If you would like to book Kalamity's "No bully, say no to drugs, and love yourself" assembly contact Cambria at 435-773-1289 or cambriairene@gmail.com

WE FOUND A CAUSE

On January 25th, sweet Kycie started complaining of a headache. On Monday she said her tummy hurt and a little later she threw up. Her mom and dad figured she was coming down with the flu. She slept all day Monday. She was given her sprite and water to help her tummy. She did not want any food. Tuesday there was no change, and her brothers started to complain of stomach aches and sore throats. Jamie took Daxton and Kycie to the doctor on Wednesday. They were given antibiotics for strep throat. By Thursday night, she was worse. On friday they went to the doctor and went to the ER at 1:00pm. By 5:00pm she was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital with blood sugar of 1148. Her parents had no idea that sweet little Kycie had diabetes!

Enroute to the hospital she had a seizure and another one right when they got to the hospital. She has been unresponsive ever since. At this point her blood sugars are under control. After reviewing her MRI the doctors said that she has extensive damage to the brain. The brain had herniated into the brain stem. They said if she survives to prepare themselves for her to be severely handicapped. They will do another MRI on Tuesday and at that point with decide if they should consider taking her off the breathing machines.

The family is hoping for a miracle and knows that this little girl's life is in God's hands right now. You can show your support to the Terry family by keeping them in your prayers and donating to help with any financial expenses that they have. Let's join together to support this wonderful family! We love you Kycie! #kissesforkycie
