It was a wonderful weekend full of love and service all for Kycie!!!

We raised $10,625 Friday night through dinner, bake sale, silent auction, and the show! It was an amazing night where tears were shed and smiles were found in an abundance! :)

We are so blessed to get to do what we love and help others.

 Kycie and her mom were able to come to the show for a little bit and it was such a treat to feel her presence and see her sweet body and spirit!

One of Kalamity's members, Cambria Hauck, shared her feelings on Kalamity and Kaos.

Cambria Hauck: Being a part of Kalamity for over 5 years I can honestly say that these three things are taught in every practice, performance, cause, relationship, etc.

Dancing for a cause makes you want to be your best self and to make the most of the life we have. I've seen so many causes suffering and going through trials that I can't comprehend, with each cause I've learned that no matter how hard life gets we can choose how we are in the face of adversity. We need to be honest with ourselves and the people around us, we need to think outside of ourselves and be genuine in thinking of others, and we need to always act with integrity. 

These are just a few of the things I've learned over the years and a few of the things I know are taught to each Kalamity, Kaos, and Vault dancer.

I'm so grateful for my opportunity to be a part of something so amazing. 

Life is a gift: a precious, one-of-a-kind, sweet gift that we can shape into anything we want. 

Be your best self!

Here's the highlight video of our trip to Vegas a couple weekends ago! While in Vegas we were able to do our "Better You" assembly, take class, feed the homeless, celebrate Em's birthday, shop, hang out together, see a show, and get sick! Haha!

Make Memories!

One day when we are ready to leave this life we will reflect on all of our memories, the good, the bad, and the ones so perfect we remember like they were yesterday.

After all is said and done all we will take with us in death is our memories, knowledge, and relationships.

So don't get too caught up in the stresses of life to forget to make memories, and when you make those memories ENJOY them.

Enjoy this stage you are in, enjoy the people in your life, enjoy each new experience you get, enjoy your routine, enjoy each and every moment for you never know when you will run out of those moments.

So for today's thought...

Kalamity's number one fan, Clayton Ah Quin Sr, is now cheering Kalamity on from heaven but he always shared this quote and it goes along with the importance of making memories,

 "Yesterday was history, tomorrow's a mystery, but today is a gift and that's why they call it the present!"
